VMA Discounts for Perth's newest major music event

An impressive list of speakers and artists has been unveiled for Perthâs most exciting new music event, One Movement For Music (OMFM) Perth, which will take place from 16th to 18th October.
The Western Australian Government-sponsored One Movement For Music Perth aims to reinforce Perthâs reputation as a major music hub and breeding ground for new artists. OMFM consists of two industry conference streams and a two-day festival featuring more than 80 of the globeâs greatest export ready and emerging artists in one location (artist, industry and fan united) and is an essential date in all music industry calendars. There will also be a number of private artist showcases.
As WA Tourism Minister Liz Constable explains, âit is fantastic that One Movement For Music Perth has attracted some of the worldâs most prestigious names in the music industry for the conference component of the event.
âLeading industry professionals such as Warner Bros. Records vice-president Seymour Stein, Coldplayâs worldwide manager David Holmes and Australiaâs music industry commentator Molly Meldrum will be speaking at the music industry conference in October.�?
Dr Constable said the One Movement For Music Perth would create a cutting-edge live-music event, giving thousands of Western Australians and interstate and international visitors access to some of the worldâs best new talent.
Hosting One Movement For Music Perth was the result of a major financial commitment from the State Government to bring world-class events to WA, Dr Constable adding that âevents such as this inject money into the Stateâs economy, promote Perth on the global stage, add vibrancy to our city and enrich Perthâs thriving music scene.�?
The Venue Management Association (Asia & Pacific) has worked with OMFM to negotiate a 15% discount off standard registration prices for its members.
