Sydney Showground launches new event space
Just prior to the opening of the Sydney Royal Easter Show, the Sydney Showground has launched its newest event space and new branding.
Royal Agricultural Society NSW Chief Executive Michael Kenny said that with over 900,000 people expected through the gates for the Sydney Royal Easter Show, which is being opened the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, there was no better time to showcase Sydney Showground's latest event space.
The new Exhibition Halls, 6 and 7, offer an extra 10,000 metres2 to the existing 22,000 metres2 of exhibition space at the Sydney Showground.
Sydney Showground General Manager Peter Thorpe explained that the new branding, which centres on how the venue delivers ‘Big Experiences’, followed extensive research into what its clients wanted.
Thorpe stated "the number one thing we got from our research was that we do big stuff really well.
"The new brand is not just about our logo, it is about the way we do business and treat our customers."
