Viva Leisure launches industry first Club Lime Flex app
Viva Leisure, Australia’s second largest health club owner with over 160 locations, has announced the launch of the Club Lime Flex casual gym pass app.
With an increasing focus on technology, the new casual gym pass offering from Viva Leisure’s Club Lime brand allows members access to all Club Lime locations on a ‘pay-as-you-go’ basis, giving them the flexibility to work out when and where it suits them. This includes 24 hours a day, even during unstaffed periods which was previously not an option for non-members.
Explaining that he sees the innovation as an industry first, Viva Leisure Limited Chief Executive and Managing Director, Harry Konstantinou stated “Club Lime Flex is perfect for people who do not want to commit to a long-term gym membership, or who want the convenience of being able to work out at multiple locations. It's also a great option for travellers, who can access Club Lime facilities while on the go.”
Fully integrated with the Sign-in with Apple service (as an option), a user can setup an account, purchase a Flex pass and access the facilities within 60 seconds. The app becomes an access pass and opens doors, lifts and even turnstiles to allow exercisers to gain entry at any time that suits them.
Konstantinou added “the app solves the issue of allowing casual users (non-members) to access facilities 24 hours a day which was previously not available, as casual non-member users needed to pay for their guest pass during staffed hours.”
The app is now available on the Apple and Google app stores and is available to use 24/7 at all 96 Club Lime locations within Australia.
