Viva Leisure opens Club Lime and hiit republic gyms at Yamanto Central
Industry leader Viva Leisure has just opened two fitness facilities within Yamanto Central retail development in south east Queensland.
With its first stage opened in April this year, Yamanto Central, located 45 kilometres south west of central Brisbane, is a major shopping and lifestyle destination featuring major retail brands.
Aiming to become more than a traditional mall, it is also including significant leisure brands with Viva Leisure’s Club Lime and hiit republic facility part of its contemporary mix.
Viva Leisure opened its hiit republic studio earlier this month and its Club Lime facility over the weekend as part of its rapid expansion of its network of innovative health and wellness brands across Queensland.
Commenting on the openings, Viva Leisure Managing Director and Chief Executive, Harry Konstantinou stated “we are excited to be extending our Queensland footprint enhancing the health and wellbeing precinct within the new development, Yamanto Central.
“Club Lime Yamanto is the 12th Club Lime facility to open in Queensland, and Viva Leisure’s 114th corporate-owned facility.
“We’re excited for Viva Leisure to further expand its network of health clubs in the state, with a strong pipeline of Club Lime and hiit republic gyms set to open in Queensland in the near future.”
Welcoming what Viva Leisure is bringing to the development, Vicki Leavy, General Manager of Yamanto Central operator JMK Retail, added “we are thrilled to see Club Lime swing open their doors at Yamanto Central. Their facilities are unmatched in the region and offer outstanding value to the local community. Club Lime is a phenomenal Australian brand that has a huge following and they will add significant value to our overall health and wellness offer at Yamanto Central.
“Yamanto Central is being embraced by the people of Ipswich as a much needed community hub where you can do your grocery shopping, catch up with friends for coffee and cake, pick up a gift for a loved one, decorate your home with all the latest essentials or head to the gym for a much needed workout.
“As more stores and facilities open their doors, we will be able to provide a single destination for elevated everyday essentials at Yamanto Central. Our much anticipated outdoor undercover dining precinct is set to open as we approach spring. Boasting seating for some 300 people, we can’t wait to welcome people to the new area.”
Located on the top floor of the centre with 180 degree views towards Amberley Air Force base, Club Lime Yamanto Central is a modern and fully equipped gym, with an open plan layout that houses state-of-the-art strength and conditioning equipment, functional training area, and an experienced team of personal trainers. The facilities are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
