Now operating in 75 locations, with 21 sites set to open and 12 locations under negotiation, expansion of Viva Leisure’s brands now sees nine hiit republic studios in operation since its launch in March 2019.

Viva Leisure has also outlined the launch of a new boutique offering, GroundUp which will offer consumers a single location and membership that will include yoga, Pilates and barre studios.

Locations for the new brand are now being secured.

Other recent milestones for the group have included the completion of its acquisition of the Fit n Fast health clubs and the rebranding of former Healthworks Fitness Centres in south east Queensland.

The group is also developing a new access for its clubs, having previously innovated with barcoded membership cards, keyring fobs, NFC access and GPS access to give members access to 24/7 clubs.

The new system, currently known as Club Lime SmartAccess, will enable members to simply hold their mobile phone in their hand and as they approach the gym entry door the access system will recognise them and unlock the door.
