ASX-listed Viva Leisure Limited has announced the appointment of two Board roles encompassing a new Chair and a new independent Non-Executive Director.

Rhys Holleran, an independent Non-Executive Director of the company since September 2020, has been appointed the new Chair of Viva Leisure, effective immediately.

Holleran brings decades of respected governance and leadership experience in dynamic, evolving sectors, having been Chief Executive of Southern Cross Media Group Limited from 2008 to 2015, Chief Executive of Macquarie Media Group and Macquarie Regional Radioworks from 2003 to 2008 and Chief Executive of RG Capital Radio Limited from 1997 to 2003.

Holleran’s appointment as Chair fills the vacant position following the death of previous Chair, Bruce Glanville - announced on 7th April 2022.

Welcoming the appointment, Viva Leisure Limited’s Chief Executive and Managing Director, Harry Konstantinou commented “on behalf of the Viva Leisure Board, we welcome Rhys as Chair. He has been a highly valued and respected Board member since 2020, and I know his leadership skills as well as his extensive private and public company experience will be an invaluable asset in his role as Chair over the next phase of Viva’s growth journey.”

Burns is a highly skilled and experienced ASX-listed Chief Financial Officer, with diverse experience in audit, financial planning and analytics, risk management and six sigma process improvement.
