Virgin Active opens new club in Sydney's St Leonards

Virgin Active Health Clubs has opened its latest club in the Sydney suburb of St Leonards and will be opening a second new Sydney club in Bondi Junction on 9th December.

Located in the new St Leonards Square development, the newly-opened facility offers boxing, Reformer Pilates, yoga and HIIT, plus a gym with strength, cardio and functional training zones.

On its website, Virgin Active Australia advise "with world-class coaches, the best training equipment from across the globe, premium post-workout amenities including Dyson Supersonic™ hairdryers, ghd® straighteners and Apelles products, as well as the ability to book your spot in advance and choose your Reformer bed, Yoga mat, and Boxing bag, Virgin Active St Leonards will be the experience your workout deserves."

Set to open on 9th December, the new Virgin Active at Bondi Junction is reportedly set across eight levels, with purpose-built studios aslo offering cycle, boxing, Reformer Pilates, yoga and HIIT, plus a gym with a strength, cardio and outdoor functional training zone.

Virgin Active has also shared a recent video on its new and exclusive Virgin Active Collection Club at its Bligh Street in the heart of Sydney, highlighting its link with leading equipment supplier Technogym.

With the facility extending over five levels, offering many personalised training experiences and providing customers with innovative and unique equipment, Virgin Active Bligh Street Club General Manager, Brett Kinninmont has explained the "three main reasons why Virgin Active Bligh Street chose Technogym to train its customers".

Kinninmont advises "first of all, the attention to detail and the design of the products, which fits perfectly with the environments of the centre creating an exclusive and luxurious environment.

"(Second) according to the biomechanics of Technogym equipment, which allows trainers to achieve results thanks to the best technology on the market.

"And finally, the connectivity of the products that fits perfectly with the digital strategy of the centre. Thanks to the digital platform Mywellness and the Technogym Ecosystem that connects all Technogym products and programs, users can view on their profile and in the mobile application all their personal data, collected both during classes and during any type of physical activity, on Technogym equipment or outdoors."

Within Virgin Active Bligh Street there are five types of training experiences and the fitness room is equipped with Technogym equipment. These include products from the ARTIS line, a unique range dedicated to cardio and strength training, with a total of 25 pieces of equipment that offer the ability to train all muscle groups, combining ease of use and comfort with the highest level of performance and user engagement.

Along with the ARTIS line there is also SKILL LINE that includes SKILLRUN, the first product for running for cardio and power training in a single solution, SKILLMILL the non-motorised treadmill that combines power, speed, stamina and agility training, SKILLBIKE the first indoor bike with a real gearbox and SKILLROW for a complete and connected indoor rowing experience.
