Ungerboeck Software Chosen as preferred event management and CRM solution for Peter Rowland Catering

Leading event management and CRM solutions provider Ungerboeck has announced Melbourne-based Pete Rowland Catering as a new customer to their software.

Employing over 5,000 staff, Peter Rowland Catering (PRC) goes beyond event catering to include retail solutions, hospitality consulting, restaurant, cafe and venue management, with Ungerboeck Software now providing a one-stop software solution for the multi-faceted business.

PRC originally identified the requirement for a new CRM platform last year, and after forming a project team of key stakeholders, underwent a search for an innovative event management software, with Ungerboeck being one of the solutions identified. Within two months, PRC had met with all the vendors, and after a rigorous review of the market, Ungerboeck was identified as the clear winner and selected as the preferred solution.

Matthew Smith, PRC’s Executive Manager - Information Services stated “we were in need of a system that could manage 30+ venues, and we liked the fact that with Ungerboeck everything we needed was in the one system.

“We needed an alternative event management component from what we were previously using that was dynamic enough to meet the needs of our ever changing business.

“Features such as custom/onscreen reporting, online booking tools and a fully featured CRM were all essential components required of a new system – with Ungerboeck we found all of this and much more.”

PRC are utilising the Ungerboeck solution to:

• Produce proposals
• Generate terms of agreement
• Managementof all event spaces
• Send event information reports, kitchen orders and beverage requests
• Invoice clients directly from Ungerboeck

Smith adds “a huge plus was the seamless integration into our General Ledger, the ability to define the export file and easily upload into our 3rd party GL is immense – it has literally shaved days off month end processing. The ability to also customise reports via Crystal Reports is massive for us.

“Previously we were forever engaging our third party vendor to make changes to our standard reports – This was costly and time consuming.

“Now we can simply make the changes we need when we need them... a significant improvement.”
