Undercard fitness boutique challenges clients with Technogym Skillmill
The fitness boutique Undercard, which opened earlier this year, offers cardio training with Technogym’s Skillmill to challenge their clients.
Kes Commerford and Zach Vichers, co-fouders of Undercard, have chosen high-intensity training to complete their first fitness boutique in Sydney.
Located on Oxford Street, between Darlinghurst and Surry Hills, Undercard offers six classes a day, which can accommodate up to 36 people each and consist of a unique mix of boxing, body definition, and cardio training with Technogym's Skillmill.
Skillmill was chosen to support their classes because it is the only non-motorised treadmill able to train power, speed, endurance and agility.
Classes are composed of HIIT training routines, the basic gestures of boxing are the basis of what has become the Undercard method: a total-body training, challenging and complete solution.
Commerford comments “Technogym is the 'Ferrari of fitness equipment' and in terms of customer experience is at a different level than everything else on the market.”
Skillmill is considered to be the ideal solution designed by Technogym for professional athletes and enthusiasts with Technogym stating “It's great for boxer-style training because it allows users to explore the full speed-resistance spectrum, from a simple run to a full push into the sledge position.
“It allows an extraordinarily effective workout because it guarantees potential expansion with high intensity (HIIT) repeats, obtaining more effective results and the greatest benefits in terms of power, speed, endurance and agility.
"There is also a significant increase in the ability to perform articulated and complex movements that require neuromuscular coordination: from basic gradual progression to advanced fundamentals.”
Commerford adds “with Skillmill we can encourage people to give 100%, taking them from sprint to sled, to sled with endurance and then back to sprint. No one has so far said the lesson was easy at the end of training. it's a challenge, every time.”
