Trainyard Gym delivers Beijing’s premier fitness club experience

Since opening in June last year, the Trainyard Gym in Beijing’s China World Trade Centre development has not only been acknowledged as one of China’s leading fitness clubs but has also received international recognition for its design.

Conceived by Stickman Design, the 3,500 metre² world-class health club, located in Hotel Jen Beijing in the heart of Beijing’s central business district, is a living piece of art decorated with raw designs and graffiti work, designed to inspire and motivate an active lifestyle.

With its high end yet industrial feel, the 24/7 facility features a central air purification system designed specifically for Beijing’s poor air quality. Spread over two floors it offers unrivalled solutions for all fitness and nutrition requirements with a variety of work-out zones, a dedicated Mixed Martial Arts area, a 25-metre swimming pool with sky light, and an array of studio spaces – all boasting floor-to-ceiling windows providing unrivalled views of the Chinese capital city.

Stickman also collaborated with Life Fitness to create colourful camouflage pattern prints for the cardio equipment.

Hotel Jen Beijing General Manager Clifford Weiner explains “there is simply no other fitness space like Trainyard Gym in Beijing and we are proud to be bringing this world-class health club experience to the city.

“The gym (is) a place for local residents and foreign guests to connect, work out, push limits, and break boundaries together.”

The gym’s 11 dedicated workout areas have been designed to meet diverse fitness requirements and include:

• A 25-metre by 10-metre heated lap pool offers stunning views of the city with natural light throughout courtesy of the overhead skylight
• Five studios for group classes, including a 30-bike spinning studio and Pilates studio with seven Peak Pilates Reformers
• A multi-functional area with Life Fitness Synrgy360 Suspension Training Platform for a complete and functional fitness workout
• A cardio machine area with treadmills, cross trainers, bikes and wide selection of Life Fitness cardio machines
• A Mixed Martial Arts area with a full-size boxing ring, Boxmasters, and punch bags
• A strength training area fitted with an entire range of Life Fitness equipment for a comprehensive workout

Guests who signed up for the gold membership and hotel guests can enjoy more than 10 group classes including spinning, Pilates, aqua exercise, boot camps, Zumba and Les Mills training. All classes are supervised and conducted by highly trained professionals.

Trainyard Gym not only offers classes that appeal to all interests and fitness levels but also caters for health and wellness with its whirlpools, saunas, steam and massage rooms to help relax muscles, and reconnect body and mind.
