FIBO China to create a bridge to China’s growing fitness market

Offering unique opportunities to trade, learn and interact in China’s fast growing fitness market, the third FIBO CHINA Fitness Convention is to be held in Shanghai from 8th to 10th Septtember.

The steady growth of the fitness market in China sees around 20,000 fitness clubs, gyms and studios operating in the world’s fastest growing economy, with predictions that fitness club memberships have the potential to reach 5% of the entire Chinese population (about 70 million people) in five year.

As the world’s leading fitness and healthy trade show, the goals of FIBO in China is to establishing a platform to promote a healthy lifestyle and to help many international fitness companies to expand their businesses in this fast growing market.

FIBO CHINA will also feature the Forum for the Future Development of the Fitness Industry in China with world renowned guest speakers include Hongguang Wang, Vice President of the China National Institution of Science and Technology Development; Herman Rugters, board member of EuropeActive; Andrew Jones Chief Operating Officer of Nuffield Health; Jan Middelkamp, Chief Executive of BlackBoxPublisher and Frank Napolitano, Chairman of 24 Hours Fitness USA.

More than 300 delagates, most of whom are fitness club investors/owners, dealers, and industry leaders in China, are expected to participate who are mainly fitness club investors/owners, dealers, and industry leaders in China.

Being held at the Shanghai Convention & Exhibition Centre, FIBO China will feature more than 200 brands and exhibits from more than 20 countries and regions, including BSN, DYMATIZE, GymMax, Intenza, ISOPURE, Life Fitness, Matrix, MUSCLETECH, MUTANT, NANOX, Precor, Star Trac, SportsArt and Technogym.

Organisers are expecteding that 2016 attendance will exceed the 8,000 trade visitors from 40 countries and regions who attended the 2015 event.

Since the start of 2016, FIBO CHINA has been undertaking a ‘100 City Road Show’ in order to bring the most advanced fitness classes, ideas, technologies, and products to tens of thousands club investors/owners, managers, and trainers across China.

In addition, FIBO’s ‘Target Attendee Program’ is looking to attract Chinese nutrition supplement distributors and buyers into the event’s visitor portfolio.

FIBO CHINA will also feature aCrossFit Competition (with more than 30 professional teams from across Asia), MMA Training Camp, Body building Competition, live performances and a ‘Future Gym’ showcase.
