Thredbo Resort reveals winter 2022 offerings

Advising that it will “focus on delivering a world-class customer experience this winter with exclusive premier on-mountain dining experiences, a range of free events, a huge line-up of après events and of course, access to Australia’s best skiing and snowboarding” Thredbo has unveiled its highly anticipated winter product offerings.

Anticipating “one of the biggest snow seasons yet”, Thredbo has commenced sales of its 2022 winter season passes, with day passes, rental and lessons available for purchase from early March.

The NSW winter resort is notes that “the demand for domestic snow holidays (is) at an all-time high, (with) the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics on the forefront of our minds thanks to Thredbo ambassadors such as Olympic Bronze Medallist Tess Coady”.

Thredbo recently won Australia's Best Ski Resort in the prestigious World Ski Awards for its fifth consecutive year as well as Best Australian Ski Resort for Families in the Out & About with Kids annual Readers' Choice Awards for 2021.

Thredbo General Manager, Stuart Diver said Australia's demand for a ski holiday at Thredbo has been remarkable, with strong bookings expected, advising “we are excited to welcome guests to the mountain this winter and are committed to providing Australia's best snow experience.

“The resort has already received a large number of enquiries for our winter passes showing us that the demand for a snow holiday at Thredbo is certainly high."

To ensure Thredbo can deliver a world-class snow experience for all guests, on and off the mountain, Thredbo will continue to manage daily capacity and some peak season dates are expected to sell out.

Diver noted “our number one priority is to offer an exceptional customer experience. We encourage guests to plan their visit early, book in advance and be flexible with travel dates to avoid disappointment.”

Winter season passes will start from $1359 for adults and $819 for children while day passes will be priced from $179 for adults and $95 for children.

All activities and events will be run in compliance with current NSW Health COVID-19 restrictions and Thredbo’s COVID-19 Operating Plan.

The official 2022 winter season will start on 11th June (subject to snow conditions).
