The Hills Shire announces playground design chosen for Glenhaven Oval

The Hills Shire Council has announced that crocodile themed playground, was the top choice chosen by residents.

Mayor of The Hills Shire, Dr Michelle Byrne thanked everyone who took the time to have their say on their favourite playground and noted “we had more than 500 submissions and plenty of great ideas on how we can improve on the overall design.

“It just shows how important this playground is to the Glenhaven community and how much our residents want to be involved in shaping the outcome of this wonderful facility that will be enjoyed by children, families, residents and visitors to the area for many years to come."

This project is being funded under the Federal Government’s Phase Two of the Local Roads and Community Infrastructure (LRCI) Program, which aims to support local councils to deliver essential infrastructure, while creating vital jobs and boosting the economy during the COVID-19 pandemic.
