Technogym launches global Let’s Move For a Better World campaign in Sydney

Technogym founder and President Nerio Alessandri has launched the company’s 2023 Let’s Move For A Better World at an invitation-only industry event at the Technogym Experience Centre in Sydney.

With Technogym’s social challenge - which enables gym-goers to transform their workout in a donation for a good cause - commencing internationally from 14th March in over 1,200 fitness clubs all over the world, Alessandri introduced the global wellness philanthropic initiative in the presence of Australian Olympians, fitness trainers and Technogym team members.

‘Let’s Move for a Better World’ sees those connected to the Technogym My Wellness Ecosystem track their exercise and collect MOVEs, Technogym’s movement unity of measure.  pon reaching predefined targets, each club can win Technogym products to donate to a non-profit association of its choice which operates in fighting obesity and sedentary lifestyles.

The more active gym-members are, the more MOVEs they collect and the bigger the donation will be to the communities.

In an Australian first, as of 31st March, all of the country’s logged ‘MOVEs’ will be matched monetarily and donated to the equivalent value in Technogym equipment to the Australian Sport Foundation.

The first city to join this year’s campaign, last night’s event began with a ribbon cutting conducted by Alessandri along with Allegra Spender, the local Member of Parliament for the Federal seat of Wentworth, the Italian Consul General in Sydney Andrea De Felip and other guests.

Technogym users across Australia and around the world are invited to participate in the campaign by engaging in their favourite physical activities and tracking their efforts throughout the campaign.
