Super Netball announces 2026 season fixtures

The Suncorp Super Netball will mark its 10th season in 2026 with an earlier season start.

Following the biggest season in the competition's history this year, the 2026 campaign will hit the courts on Saturday 14th March with a schedule crafted to conclude ahead of the 2026 Glasgow Commonwealth Games in late July.

A 14-round home and away season will see matches played on Saturday nights and Sundays, with one Friday night fixture included. All 56 matches will be available live on Kayo Sports, Fox Sports and Binge.

Fans will get a first look at 2026 squads, with exciting new line ups and team combinations unveiled as the season begins.

The opening match will see the Melbourne Mavericks host GIANTS Netball as new Maverick Jamie-Lee Price faces her former team. The venue for this opening match will be revealed ahead of 2026.

Also in Round 1, West Coast Fever will host Sunshine Coast Lightning at Perth’s RAC Arena in a nostalgic nod to the very first Suncorp Super Netball game played back in 2017.

Round 2 will light up Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena with double-headers featuring NSW and Victorian rivalries - 100 years since the first recorded interstate clash between the two states, also played in Sydney.

Fans can look forward to a full round of Easter weekend action, two Anzac Day matches on Saturday 25th April, and the anticipated 2025 Grand Final rematch in Round 7 between the Melbourne Vixens and West Coast Fever at John Cain Arena.

First Nations Rounds will return in 2026 across Rounds 11 and 12, coinciding with National Reconciliation Week (27th May to 3rd June). All teams will host a home match across the two rounds, celebrating First Nations culture and contributions, with the season concluding prior to NAIDOC Week.

The home and away season will end on Sunday, 14 June, before the Finals Series begins the following week.

Advising that the 2026 fixture reflects the League’s growth and commitment to fans and culture, Netball Australia Chief Executive, Stacey West stated "the 2026 fixture reflects the continued evolution of the League.

“After the biggest season in our history, featuring a record total season attendance of 386,455 and the most-watched Grand Final in league history, we’re positioned for another landmark year.

“We are the most attended female sport in Australia, and it is a title we are proud to hold for the second year in a row.

“2026 marks a significant season as we celebrate the tenth edition of the world’s best national netball league and continue to grow the game both nationally and globally.”

With the highest number of international broadcast deals to date, Suncorp Super Netball will reach more audiences in more countries in 2026.

AWSN (All Women’s Sports Network) and Inverleigh have joined forces with Netball Australia to deliver access to netball globally. As a result, the 2026 season is set to showcase the world’s best netball league to millions of fans across more than 120 countries.
