Sunbather offers pool running costs audit

Solar pool heating and swimming pool covers supplier Sunbather are offering clients and potential clients an 'energy audit' to determine the exact costs of running their pool.

The audit aims to give managers and owners of commercial pools advice on the potential cost savings and return on investment on an investment in a pool cover and/or solar pool heating.

Explaining the initiative a Sunbather spokesperson started "facilities will be astounded at the results.

"For example, a swimming pool currently heating its water via gas or electricity will pay for the cost of a Sunbather Thermal Blanket in just over two years.

"That's an important return on investment."

An energy audit not only highlights cost savings, it also shows the 10s of thousands of tonnes of greenhouse gases that a facility can save.

The spokesperson added, "we even offer a Greenhouse Gas Monitor that tells you and your customers the energy savings you are making with your solar pool heater and pool cover, as opposed to gas or electric heating."
