Staff reshuffle for a bigger and better Sydney Y

The YMCA of Sydney has announced the expansion of its Support Services team to include a General Manager - appointing Mouth Annan and Penrith YMCA Group Manager Craig Lambeth to the role.

Lambeth has been with YMCA of Sydney for seven years managing the YMCA partnership with Camden Council.

The General Manager has been tasked with optimising the process and work efficiency of the support services team in Parramatta to position the Y for expansion in the contract management field which has seen a growth over the last two years. As Lambeth comments “it’s a very exciting time of expansion for YMCA of Sydney and an even greater opportunity for me to be tasked with this leadership position under Chief Executive Phillip Hare.

“We want to be able to provide our partners with the very best service and we’re working on adjusting our working practices to make sure that is always the case.

“Everything from marketing, PR, accounts and HR will be streamlined to work at best practice standards and get the very best from our staff in the process.”

“The YMCA is a great place to work and it will be even better in the longer term.”

Joel Anderson, previously Assistant Manager, has been appointed the role of Centre Manager at Mount Annan Leisure Centre while David Vial is to head the team at Penrith YMCA.
