Stacey Aldous named national AUSTSWIM WETS Aqua Instructor of the Year
AUSTSWIM National Awards have seen Stacey Aldous named as the winner of the AUSTSWIM WETS Instructor™ Award.
Aldous, who will be recognised at the 2017 National AUSTSWIM Conference and AQUASUMMIT at the end of this month, is based at Freedom Health & Wellness, located in New Norfolk, Tasmania.
The Award recognises her passion for promoting the benefits of physical activity in an aquatic environment.
AUSTSWIM Chief Executive Jennifer Schembri-Portelli said the award was one of the eight premier awards presented to individuals or organisations across Australia that achieve the highest standards of aquatic education excellence.
Explaining that Aldous has worked tirelessly to take WETS aqua activity to the Tasmanian community, Schembri-Portelli stated “the time, effort and research Stacey has placed into aqua is monumental.
“She ‘hounded’ the WETS course providers to make sure Tasmania received the same aquatic training as the ‘mainland’. She participated in the WETS aqua course, worked tirelessly to train as an AUSTSWIM WETS presenter and contributes to the written and online resources.”
Aldous taps into her blend of energy and enthusiasm to promote wellness for people at every age and stage of life.
As Director and owner of Freedom Health & Wellness, she connects with people of all ages, cultures and demographics.
