Sportsfield grandstand installations completed in Shoalhaven
Shoalhaven City Council has completed the latest stage in its grandstand installations at four sportsgrounds across the Shoalhaven.
Sportsgrounds to receive the latest grandstand installations include Ulladulla Sporting Complex, Huskisson Sportsground, Mollymook Oval and Lighthouse Oval - Ulladulla. The project cost for the installations totalled $75,000 funded by Council.
Mayor Amanda Findley was pleased to see the grandstand addition to the four sportsgrounds and advised “the grandstand seating will provide the community with tiered, covered seating, allowing space for spectators to come and enjoy watching and supporting players in rain or shine.
“The covered seating will help to ensure a protected and comfortable place for those wanting to support friends and the wider community in sport, which is a great way for the community to come together.”
The project follows previous grant-funded installations in 2019 at Finkernagel Oval – Sussex Inlet, Lyrebird Park - Nowra, Callala Sportsground and Vic Zealand Oval - Shoalhaven Heads.
