Sports Environment Alliance looks to fill Board positions

Two vacancies exist as the result of the expiry of Directors' terms for the Sports Environment Alliance (SEA) with the organisation now calling for nominations from people interested in standing for election to its Board at the AGM on 12th November 2024.

SEA is a member-based organisation and work with sporting organisations to support them on their environment and climate journey. Their members range from the largest national sporting organisations through to state sporting organisations. large sporting clubs, local government, venues and small grassroots community clubs.

SEA note “Our Vision is that sport inspires action on the environment and climate

“Our Purpose is to lead, educate and empower the sport ecosystem to take action for and influence a sustainable and regenerative future.’

Nominations are sought from people who share SEA’s vision and purpose, are interested in the work of SEA, and have the skills, experience and capabilities to help it grow its membership and reach.

Directors will be elected by SEA members via a voting process, with the successful candidates announced at the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 12th November 2024.

Applications will only be accepted via the designated process and must be received by 6pm on 8th October 2024 AEDT.
