SPARC launches sport and recreation knowledge library
The New Zealand Government's sport and recreation agency SPARC has launched a new Sport and Recreation Knowledge Library ('the Knowledge Library') for all those working or interested in sport and recreation in New Zealand.
Aimed at practitioners, researchers, students, policy makers and planners the Knowledge Library provides information on research ideas that practitioners and organisations need help with or researchers want to promote to connect with those working in the sport and recreation sector; research projects that are currently underway; and completed and published research.
The Knowledge Library has four searchable sections:
Research Ideas ï¾ for posting/viewing research ideas, topics, strategies and agendas that practitioners and organisations want help with or researchers (including students) want to promote to connect with those working in the sport and recreation sector
Research Underway ï¾ for posting/viewing descriptions of current research projects, along with contact details of the researchers and information about who the research is for/funded by.
Completed Research ï¾ for posting/viewing abstracts of articles, and details of book chapters, reports, conference proceedings, and theses. Where available, links to full text are provided.
User Community ï¾ for posting/viewing contact details, profiles, and lists of publications of contributors registered with the Knowledge Library.
