Dreamworld Country Fair to deliver array of entertainment and activities

Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld is hosting its Country Fair commencing tomorrow and bringing together an exciting mix of live entertainment, delicious food, and fun-filled activities.

Running from Saturday 21st September to Sunday 6th October, this year’s Dreamworld Country Fair offers families an exclusive concert by Australian country music sensation Casey Barnes along with a host of attractions and activities that will appeal to guests of all ages. The beloved Barnyard Buddies Petting Zoo will be back, allowing children and parents alike to meet baby goats, sheep and chicks.

On Saturday 5th October, Casey Barnes will perform live on the Dreamworld stage with this special event, included with entry, considered a major drawcard for country music lovers.

For those with a taste for delicious treats, the Dreamworld Country Fair’s All-American menu will feature favourites like Biscoff Frappes, loaded fries, and slow-cooked smoked meats, offering something for everyone to enjoy.

Another feature of this year’s event is Scarecrow Lane, showcases creative entries from the 2024 Dreamworld Scarecrow Project. This school-based competition focuses on the theme of ‘Wildlife Conservation: Ecology of Threatened and Endangered Species’ encouraging young minds to think about environmental sustainability while adding a fun, artistic touch to the event.

And of course, no trip to the Dreamworld Country Fair would be complete without a stroll through Sideshow Alley, where families can enjoy classic carnival games, try their luck at winning prizes, and pick up popular showbags.

Joshua Davis, General Manager of Marketing and Technology at Dreamworld, says the park is thrilled to offer an experience that combines live music, fun, and new memories for the whole family adding “we’re incredibly excited to host Casey Barnes for an exclusive concert at our Dreamworld Country Fair. This event is perfect for families who want to enjoy the best of country fun, from amazing live music to engaging activities and of course all our rides, wildlife and entertainment!”

With so much to see and do, Dreamworld Country Fair is set to be the perfect day out for families, blending the charm of the country with the thrills of Australia’s largest theme park. For more information and tickets, visit dreamworld.com.au
