SkiJapan.com a mini 'United Nations'

Niseko-based SkiJapan.com is an Australian company having a significant impact on the fabric of the popular ski town in Japan's north island of Hokkiado.

Since its creation in 1992, SkiJapan.com has grown to be the largest and longest established Australian tour operator specialising in Japanese ski resorts, becoming synonymous with snow holidays to Japan's powder playgrounds in Hokkaido.

The company also employs the largest number of seasonal staff, including ski and snowboard instructors from Australia, United Kingdom, South America, France, Spain, Korea, New Zealand, China, America and Japan, from December until late April early May.

Around 30 of the instructors are among the overseas employees returning to working at one of the snowiest resorts on earth.

SkiJapan.com Chief Operating Officer Anthony Trovatello explains "it is our in depth recruitment, training and ongoing staff care program that ensures we have the happiest staff- which allows them to deliver the highest level of service for our guests.

"We pride ourselves on our commitment to the community of Niseko and Japan as a country."

While its bilingual team will have daily interaction with over 7,000 guests, between December 2013 and May this year, it is the benefits they bring to the numerous Japanese-owned businesses in Niseko that the owners of this IATA accredited travel company are particularly proud of.
