NRL's Parramatta Eels and BBL's Sydney Thunder launch combined membership

Rugby league’s Parramatta Eels and cricket’s Sydney Thunder have joined forces to launch a new combined fan membership.

With both teams located in Western Sydney, the Eels x Thunder membership offering will cost $110 for adults and will include general admission access to the Eels’ home games at the 30,000-capacity CommBank Stadium and Thunder home games at the 23,500-capacity Spotless Stadium, as well as member packages and benefits for both clubs.

Commenting on the partnership, Parramatta Eels Club Head of Consumer, Tom Jamsek stated “we know a lot of our fans also have a keen interest in cricket and this Membership offer gives them an opportunity to enjoy another sport during the NRL off season.

“Partnering with another Western Sydney sporting code gives both brands exposure to diverse and passionate fan bases and an opportunity to reach new audiences through live sport.”

Founded in 2011, Sydney Thunder play in the Big Bash League while the Eels have played at the top level of rugby league since 1947.
