Parramatta Eels create new membership record ahead of 2019 NRL season

Set to move into the new Bankwest Stadium for the 2019 NRL season, the Parramatta Eels have announced that they have already broken the Club’s full season membership record.

With excitement mounting ahead of moving into their newly built stadium in Western Sydney, the Eels round six Premiership match against West Tigers on Easter Monday 2019 will be the first major event held at their new home - with the club anticipating that the fixture will sell out quickly.

Club officials also advise that the top three Eels Membership packages are already at 99% capacity.

Only renewing 2018 Members have had the opportunity to purchase their 2019 Memberships with Platinum seating already sold out, West Club House has less than 40 seats left and Gold has less than 100 seats left.

The only way Parramatta Eels supporters can secure remaining spots at Bankwest Stadium is by purchasing 2019 Memberships which go on sale for the General Public this afternoon (10th December) at 4 pm.

Enthusiastic about prospects for the coming season, Eels Chief Executive, Bernie Gurr commented “the prospect of being part of history at the first-ever major event at Bankwest Stadium has already generated a lot of interest and our Members and fans are thrilled about coming home in 2019.

“We’re very excited to play in front of a full house in a newly built stadium, and along with the Parramatta Leagues Club, we are looking forward to putting on an unforgettable game-day experience.”

Gurr advises that purchasing a 2019 Membership with the club is the best way to guarantee attendance at the first game, adding “the design of the stadium results in the steepest stands in Australia and, along with the proximity to the playing field, will generate the most compelling atmosphere in Australian sport – there is no bad seat in the house, everyone will be close to the action.”

The Parramatta Eels Club is also aiming to ensure that membership is affordable for families, with special offers that allow Juniors free General Admission with a full paying adult (limit of one junior per adult).

In addition, full-season family memberships starts from $30 per month.
