Singapore-based ThriveX acquired by Echelon Fitness

US-based Echelon Fitness has announced the acquisition of Singapore-based recovery solutions brand ThriveX.

Announcing the acquisition, Peloton rival Echelon, whose main product is the Connect sports bike, advised “this strategic partnership allows us to expand our product offerings and provide even more comprehensive wellness solutions to our valued customers.

“Soon, these fantastic products will be available on our website, offering you the latest in recovery technology to elevate your wellness journey.”

ThriveX is known for its advanced recovery solutions such as cold immersion therapy systems, smart hybrid saunas and compression boots and is a contender for Beyond Activ’s Startup of the Year award being presented in Singapore tonight.

Commenting on the brand’s expansion, Echelon Chief Executive, Lou Lentine advised recently “in 2017, Echelon Fitness was founded to address an unmet, rising market need - smart fitness, available across all price points, to consumers looking for a technology-driven omnichannel solution, community, accessibility and convenience.

“Our investment proved correct as we have soared to become a leading player in the global fitness industry.

ThriveX, which launched last June in Singapore and reported over US$600,000 in sales within months, has since expanded its reach to the USA, UAE, India, Thailand and Russia.

The business has served as the official recovery sponsor for Hyrox, Spartan Race and Virgin Active.
