Rec Alley gymnastics appoints Ozren Vukelic as Chief Executive

Gymnastics provider, Rec Alley, has announced the appointment of Ozren Vukelic to the position of Chief Executive.

Rec Alley gymnastic clubs provide classes for a wide range of ages, abilities and fitness levels. Rec Alley provides quality gymnastics programming without the requirement to attend competitions (this is by choice only).

Vukelic was previously with Rec Alley in an executive role, and after two years out of the business, returns to lead the company into the next phase of Rec Alley’s strategic planning and growth.

This appointment is timely given Rec Alley’s growth objectives for 2024 and plans to launch a franchise offering across Australia and New Zealand.

Rec Alley is on track to achieve over 5,000 individual participants across its three clubs in the Macarthur Region throughout 2024, making it one of the largest gymnastics clubs per square metre in the Country.

Rec Alley Director, Joel Anderson, is beyond pleased with the appointment and return of Vukelic, and looks forward to working with Vukelic again as Rec Alley looks to grow across Australia and New Zealand.

Anderson enthused “I am extremely excited and full of gratitude to welcome Ozren back to Rec Alley. He is the obvious choice and best fit for this position given his expertise and previous experience with Rec Alley, private and public sectors, not for profit, and various recreational businesses.

“Ozren’s business and commercial acumen, leadership, and determination to provide service excellence is first class. Ozren is one in a million, and we are thrilled to see him hit the ground running after he takes some time off with his family after the birth of his second daughter.”

Vukelic adds “I am thrilled to rejoin Rec Alley and grow this strong brand into a household name across Australia and New Zealand. Sport and recreation play an important part of family life in Australia and we want to positively impact as many communities, whether through participating, working or owning a Rec Alley business.”

Vukelic commences with Rec Alley in April 2024.
