QPEC to stage Functional Fitness Forum in Brisbane

QPEC (Quality Products, Education and Conditioning) are to stage the Functional Fitness Forum at the Brisbane Techology Park Convention Centre on Friday 26th and Saturday 27th October.

The event aims to reveal the latest science, research, and training methodology from fitness industry leaders informing delegates on how to program industry clients to move and feel better. 

QPEC Marketing Manager Sharyn Wright explains "we are very excited to be able to bring this calibre of presenters to Brisbane for the first time."

Speakers at the event are:

Peter Twist, MSc.  President and Chief Executive of Twist Sport Conditioning, Global Education and Programming Partner for Combine360, Developer of national syllabus for School PE methods in British Columbia, Canada, and an innovator of small group functional training, Peter has worked with over 700 professional athletes, written several books and produced over 20 sports conditioning DVDs. 
Peter is also the recipient of several prestigious Fitness industry awards including Presenter of the Year and the NSCA's Presidents award.

Douglas Brooks, MSc.
Director of Programming for both BOSU® and RealRyderIndoor Cycling, and the ex-Ironman® triathlete is currently the Director of Athlete Conditioning for Sugar Bowl Ski Academy. Douglas was inducted into the National Fitness Hall of Fame and has been honoured by Can-Fit-Pro as the International Presenter of the Year, and is the author of numerous books.

Michol Dalcourt
An educator, author, trainer, inventor, and an industry leader in the areas of human movement and performance training. Michol is Director of the Institute of Motion, Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco in Sports Science, and co-founder of PTA Global. Michol invented ViPR™ - the latest whole body integration training tool. 

Dr. Robbie Parker
Exercise physiologist with a research background in exercise and weight loss for children and seniors. The Director, Children's Hospital Institute of Sports Medicine (CHISM), at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Sydney.
