CLM launches first wholly owned aquatic and fitness facility
Leading New Zealand facility management company CLM has recently launched its first wholly owned aquatic and fitness facility in the Auckland suburb of St Johns.
Opened in January 2015, CLM The Bays is an all new facility offering a five-lane, 25 metre pool; an 8 metre by 5 metre teaching pool; a 24/7 gym spread over three floors that includes a female-only training area along with a cafe selling Grinders Coffee, smoothies, protein shakes plus a range of delicious food for lunch and snacks and a specialist swim and fitness wear retail outlet with stock from Reebok, Speedo, Zoggs and Karora.
The $3 million facility offers SwimMagic learn-to-swim programmes for babies through to adults, more than 60 Les Mills group fitness classes per week and free on-going health and well-being programmes and advice from qualified staff.
The facility also accommodates all of CLM’s head office functions.
Explaining the move to owning, as well as managing facilities, CLM Chief Executive Craig Carter states “we are excited and challenged to provide the St Johns and Eastern Bays communities with a facility that delivers an experience that is unparalleled.”
CLM The Bays is located at 135 Morrin Road, St Johns, Auckland 1072.
