Key appointments at CLM
CLM (Community Leisure Management) has announced the appointment of Brett Jude into a role that will oversee all the CLM operated facilities in the Counties Manukau region.
Since leaving his former role as Chief Executive at Manukau Leisure, Jude has been with CLM for 12 months and his presence at Franklin Sport, Swim & Fitness has resulted in growth in all areas.
With extensive experience, knowledge, respect, qualifications and awards within the industry, Jude has been a key figure within the aquatic and recreation industry in New Zealand over more than 20 years.
Jude brings with him leadership and strong relationship building qualities that both the staff and community will benefit from as he leads by example and encourages others to succeed.
At Manukau Leisure, he was fundamental in delivering key community outcomes and ensuring the recreation needs of the Manukau residents were being met through programmes and services available at the council facilities.
Jude has been present on many industry boards including recreation leaders, the international advisory board for Centre for Environmental Recreation Management (CERM), the New Zealand Recreation Association (NZRA) and as an executive member of the Northern Region Recreation Association.
In 2009, Jude was recognised at the annual NZRA awards and awarded the Paul Stuart Memorial Award for his contribution to the aquatic and recreation industry.
CLM General Manager, Craig Carter says "we are very pleased to have Brett take on the new role within the region and we are confident he will lead the Counties Manukau facilities to ensure they continue to grow and meet the changing needs of the community. Brett brings a wealth of knowledge and it's an exciting appointment for CLM and region. "
CLM has also announced the appointment of Jaye Puia as the new Manager of CLM Health & Fitness Mount Wellington.
Puia has worked for CLM in two separate spells of 10 years and comes with qualifications from AUT. He has also worked in Australia with Fitness First.
Speaking of this appointment, Carter adds "Jaye is outstanding at delivering exceptional customer service, so this coupled with his fitness knowledge will ensure that the Mount Wellington continues to thrive."
