Adventure Park Geelong to stage new winter festival through school holidays
Victorian water theme park, Adventure Park, is set to introduce an immersive winter-themed family festival to the Geelong region these July school holidays.
Featuring snow, lights, fire and ice, Adventure Park’s Winter Glow will run from 25th June to 10th July 2021 a massive snow play zone where children can make snow angels and build snowmen along with live ice-sculpting and live fire twirling displays.
Winter Glow will also feature two million lights and hundreds of glittering light installations along with access to all of Adventure Park’s non-water rides.
Driven by a gap in the region for children’s entertainment during winter, Adventure Park Managing Director, Leanne Salmon says the attraction has looked to their own families’ amusement for design inspiration.
Salmon advised “we’ve created an event with activities that we know our own kids would love to see and enjoy.
“We felt the winter needed some fun to brighten it up and created the Winter Glow to give other families something to look forward to while the park would usually be closed for winter.”
