Pro-Floor GP sets new benchmarks in turf protection

An innovative new translucent portable flooring product has achieved outstanding results in an industry turf protection trial.

A recent study found Profloor Portable Flooringâs brand new turf protection product - Pro-Floor® GP (Grass Protection) - provided flawless turf protection for more than two weeks with no visible damage to turf, even immediately after it was removed.

AGCSATech, the agronomic wing of the Australian Golf Course Superintendents' Association (AGCSA) and foremost provider of expert diagnostic and analytical services to the Australian turfgrass industry, conducted the study and trialled the affects of Pro-Floor® GP over cool season turfgrasses, made up of mostly ryegrass.

AGCSATech Senior Agronomist Andrew Peart was amazed that after 15 days, Pro-Floor® GP caused no visible damage, such as turfgrass yellowing or reduction in colour and density.

As Peart states "I saw no negative affect with the Pro-Floor® GP product (and) the great thing about it is it lets in light and air to the grass underneath. It reduces the risk of damage to turf under traffic and it gives stadium curators a bit more faith."

More than two years in development, Pro-Floor® GP is made from a superior quality engineering grade polypropylene copolymer material designed for high impact and renowned for its toughness, flexibility and resilience.
