Precor introduces new customisable branding and communication console tools

Leading fitness equipment supplier Precor has introduced Preva MyUI™, a set of branding and communication tools that enables the customisation of console screens appearing on Precor Experience Series™ networked cardio equipment.

As well as allowing personalised and direct communication with exercisers on the cardio floor, the innovation can be used to create an experience unique to the facility, providing opportunities to showcase products and services.

Now available for new networked customers and to the 55,000 existing Preva networked units in 82 countries worldwide, Preva MyUI™ turns Precor networked consoles on the Experience Series™ 880, 860, 780 and 760 Lines of cardio equipment into an interactive communications platform. Operators can now differentiate how they connect with exercisers by customising screen content and personalising branded messages, knowing they have the exerciser’s undivided attention during their workout.

In addition to the new Walk-Up Screen Publisher and Manage Walk-up Screen features, Preva MyUI™ also incorporates tools that were previously part of the Preva In-Touch section of Preva Business Suite, such as the ability to customise a welcome message, send in-workout messages and curate a feed of content chosen by the facility.

Operators can now differentiate the experience they deliver to members by easily customising the walk-up screen, generating awareness of new classes, additional products and services, allowing them to build a community, retain members and boost secondary revenue. Through Preva MyUI™ customised walk up screen members have the ability to click through to their facility’s web page to access class schedules, event details and offers.

Adam Hubbard, Director of Product Management for Precor, explains “interactive digital communications is an important element of helping our customers better engage with their members.

“Members now expect, as part of everyday life, for information and media to be communicated to them digitally. As fitness trends continue to evolve, MyUI™ gives operators the ability to promote new training options and services, enabling exercisers to be involved in a total branded experience.

“MyUI™ takes the tools that were previously part of Preva Business Suite to a whole new level and the new additions to the suite will provide operators with the ability to leverage their own brand imagery, workouts, interactive web pages, videos and much more. As MyUI™ is flexible, and content can be changed easily, this will help facilities transform their cardio area, allow them to capitalise on effectively communicating with exercisers and enable secondary revenue opportunities.”
