Otium Planning Group highlights record in planning projects in regional cities

Otium Planning Group has released a video highlighting its achievements in planning major aquatic, recreation and sport projects across Australia, including in regional cities.

The YouTube video focuses on the successes and key learnings from the consultancy’s recent partnership with the City of Greater Bendigo in the Gurri Wanyarra Wellbeing Centre in Kangaroo Flat.

Otium prepared the feasibility study and business case for this $32.4 million facility that delivered 432,000 visits in its first 12 months of operation, and boasts more than 3,500 members and 1,000 students enrolled in learn to swim programs.

Otium Planning Group Managing Director, Kate Maddock explained “this short video highlights the experience Otium has delivering major facilities in regional cities and the positive impact they have on the health of the local community.

“The video shows how a regional city community can replace aged and out of date facilities with a facility providing the latest contemporary aquatic, health and wellbeing activity areas that will serve the community well for the next 50 years.”
