Otium Planning Group partners with Dave Lanfear Consulting

The Otium Planning Group Pty Ltd (OPG) has advised of the establishment of a collaborative partnership with Dave Lanfear Consulting Pty Ltd (DLC) to jointly work in Western Australia.

The partnership will see the companies sharing expertise and project knowledge in Western Australia as well as DLC assisting Otium across its network of Australasian offices.

Welcoming the partnership, Otium Director Mike King noted “we are excited to be working with such an experienced local planner as Dave Lanfear and his team in WA.”

The partnership is timely from both companies’ perspective as Otium has been investigating the best way to set up an office in Western Australia, while Lanfear, who established his consulting practice last yeat s currently working on a broad range of projects.

King added that “after reviewing the best options to bring OPG to WA that it clearly showed a partnership approach with a local company that met our company ethics and best practice ideals would best meet both our business development aims.

“The partnership will work both ways as Dave brings to OPG a large range of skills and experience that our clients and consultant team will benefit from”.

Lanfear has over 30 years of experience across a range of industry sectors, of which the past 19 years has been involved in the sport, recreation and community development sectors. He is a trained and practicing urban and regional planner and applies this technical knowledge to the development of sustainable community outcomes.

He has undertaken a variety of strategic plans and organisational reviews; master plans, needs and feasibility studies and has been a regular conference presenter.

Lanfear welcomes the opportunity to work with Otium’s diverse and talented team bringing capacity, help and assistance to the Western Australian market and ultimately provide clients with a higher quality outcome to meet their requirements.
