Ocean Park seeks new Ticketing and Admission System
Hong Kong theme park, Ocean Park, has put out an Invitation for Expression of Interest for the 'Design and Implement of a Parkwide Ticketing and Admission System'.
Ocean Park Hong Kong is looking to revamp its park-wide ticketing and admission system ahead of future expansion.
The park is launching two new hotels, new attractions and a Water World in the next few years.
So it is seeking a company which can “provide a total solution from concept to deployment and from infrastructure to application.”
The system will help the park manage its ticket sales and control admissions to the hugely popular Hong Kong theme park.
The ticketing system will also need to be capable of handling online ticketing sales for public and travel agents.
Ocean Park says the vendor is expected to be an industry leader. They will need to provide three major services: consultancy; design and build; and maintenance and support. The vendor is expected to have over 10 years’ experience in providing ticketing and admission solutions to the theme park industry.

The proposal must be deposited into our tender box situated at the Administration Building Annex of Ocean Park, Aberdeen, Hong Kong at or before 3.30 pm on 8th August 2017 (Hong Kong time).
Late submissions will not be considered.
Ocean Park Hong Kong is situated in the southern district of Hong Kong. It is the world’s 13th most visited theme park and the largest theme park in Asia. It comprises an amusement park, animal theme park, a marine mammal park and an oceanarium. The park comprises two main attraction areas: the Waterfront and the Summit. These are further subdivided into eight attraction zones: Amazing Asian Animals, Aqua City, Whiskers Harbour, Marine World, Polar Adventure, Adventure Land, Thrill Mountain and the Rainforest.
