NRMA acquires Yamba's Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort

NRMA Parks and Resorts latest acquisition is Yamba’s family-friendly holiday destination - the Blue Dolphin Holiday Resort.

Set on the banks of the Clarence River and just minutes away from the coastal town of Yamba and its stunning Northern New South Wales beaches, the Blue Dolphin has been a popular spot for holidays and road trip stopovers for decades.

NRMA’s acquisition of the Blue Dolphin resort comes just months after the member organisation’s purchase of the Angourie Resort, just five minutes’ drive away, now providing offering a swag of premium and family-friendly holiday options for NRMA members and holidaymakers to choose from in Yamba.

NRMA Blue Dolphin Yamba has an array of accommodation and facility offerings, being one of the biggest holiday resorts in NSW. The resort features a range of accommodation options including waterfront and poolside villas, cabins and caravan and camping sites, and it’s pet-friendly – promising a fun getaway for the whole family.

Onsite, there’s plenty to keep the children busy and the adults relaxed, with a number of pools with slides, a lazy river and kids’ waterpark, a climbing wall, putt-putt golf, pump track and jumping pillow, a games room and fun hire equipment from pedal-karts and kayaks to stand-up paddleboards. For adults there’s a swim-up pool bar, a snooker hall and undercover barbecue area.

The holiday resort is centrally located in town and gives easy access to the region’s beaches, ideal for surfers, swimmers and relaxed family days by the ocean. A riverside bike path runs along the Clarence River to the town centre, where visitors will find shops, ten pin bowling and a cinema, boat hire and popular monthly markets.

The Yuragir National Park lies at the southern end of Yamba, is home to the state’s longest stretch of pristine coastline and a range of hosted and self-guided nature walks and hikes.

NRMA Parks and Resorts Chief Executive Paul Davies said the addition of the Blue Dolphin to the portfolio was a new jewel in the organisation’s holiday offering and added “many of us who have enjoyed holidays on the New South Wales north coast or who have been on road trips over generations will be familiar the friendly Blue Dolphin sign in the waterfront centre of Yamba.

“At NRMA we’re pleased to have wonderful holiday options in Yamba covered for our members and guests, both at the Blue Dolphin and the premium Angourie Resort.”
