NRMA continues tourism portfolio expansion with addition of Echuca Holiday Park

The NRMA is continuing the expansion of its holiday park portfolio with a new partnership with Campaspe Shire Council and the rebranding of the Echuca Holiday Park in Victoria.

Located on the banks of the River Murray on the NSW/Victoria border, the park has, as of 1st May, been rebranded and brought under the stable of NRMA Parks and Resorts. This will bring to 38 the number of NRMA owned and operated parks nationwide of which 22 are now branded as NRMA Parks and Resorts.

The new partnership will see NRMA Parks and Resorts working closely with Campaspe Shire Council to manage the park and improve facilities as part of a capital investment plan.

The holiday park is a 2.5 hour drive from Melbourne and less than six hours from Canberra, offering travellers an opportunity to get back to nature and explore the stunning Scenic Drive Trail or take in the history of the bustling river trade of the 1800’s at the Port of Echuca Discovery Centre, across the Murray River from the NSW town of Moama.

Providing a range of accommodation including one and two bedroom self-contained cabins and powered and unpowered sites for caravans and camping, NRMA Echuca Holiday Park will have something for every budget.

NRMA Parks and Resorts Chief Executive Paul Davies said the NRMA was thrilled to partner with Campaspe Shire Council and welcome Echuca Holiday Park into the NRMA branded family.

Davies explained “(we have brought the) Echuca Holiday Park into the national family of NRMA Parks and Resorts, increasing our touchpoint for members and offering increased value for families wishing to explore the beauty of this great nation.

“The NRMA prides itself on providing exceptional holiday experiences, in fantastic locations at affordable prices. We are committed to working with Campaspe Shire Council to deliver and enhance the unique experience on offer at Echuca Holiday Park.

“Holiday parks are the cornerstone of the quintessential Australian driving holiday and the NRMA’s expansion in the industry is a tangible way for us to safeguard this wonderful tradition for future generations. Our mission is to make the great Australian road trip experience more enjoyable and accessible for everyone.”

Echuca Holiday Park provides a range of facilities including amenities, kids’ playground, BBQ facilities, tennis court, camp kitchen, modern recreation room with shared lounge and TV area, Wi-Fi and a laundry.
