NRL sells out first batch of tickets for 2019 State of Origin clash in Perth
With 32,000 tickets for State of Origin II in Perth already sold since being released last week, the NRL has today announced that a further tranche of tickets for the 23rd June 2019 fixture are now available.
Perth is set to host game two of next years Origin series, the first time a State of Origin fixture will be played outside the eastern states since 2007.
Announcing the release of a second round of tickets, NRL Chief Commercial Officer, Andrew Abdo advised “due to the high demand we have decided to schedule a second release of tickets which includes restricted view seating, alongside normal general public tickets.
“Once again I’d encourage all of our supporters to get in early and secure this opportunity of seeing State of Origin for the first time in Perth.”
Supporters are being advised to only purchase tickets from official sellers, rather than but through secondary sellers including Viagogo.
Abdo added “the only way to guarantee that you are able to attend is to purchase from the official sellers.”
