NRL Nation to launch during 2015 Grand Final week
An all new NRL fan site, that promises to be "like none you've ever seen", will be launched at Sydney's Darling Harbour during NRL Grand Final week.
NRL Nation – a major supporter engagement centre - will see fans invited to join players from all 16 NRL clubs as well as the full Grand Final teams during the celebration of rugby league.
NRL Nation will feature unique interactive experiences including an NRL National Stadium, while there will be meet-and-greet opportunities with NRL stars and legends, skills tests and other free entertainment.
NRL Nation will kick off on Thursday 1st October, with an appearance by the two grand-final teams, and will continue on the following Friday and Saturday.
Introducing the concept, an NRL spokesman stated "this is a rugby league first – an interactive fan engagement site which will have current players, legends and both Grand Final teams joining fans of all clubs in the lead-up to the decider.
"Given the closeness of the competition, this Grand Final will no doubt be one of the biggest yet and we want to share the excitement with as many people as possible.
"This concept is something completely unique for rugby league and we know that it will grow into something truly special for the game."
Supporters are encouraged to register for NRL Nation to receive official information and updates, including team and player appearances, the entertainment schedule, discounts and special offers.
