New website and General Manager at Physical Activity Australia
Physical Activity Australia (PAA), the smaller of Australia's two fitness registration bodies, has announced two significant changes.
First, the Melbourne-based organisation has a new logo and a new website.
As PAA Chief Executive Wendy Gillett explains "in redesigning the website, we were looking for the best way to communicate to our registrants, students, training providers and members of the community.
"As with all websites, ours will continually grow and change, so (users are asked to) keep checking in to learn about the latest industry news, training courses and ways in which we can help further careers in the fitness industry."
PAA has also welcomed Ben Cooper as its new General Manager.
Cooper's experience extends across local government, business (including running his own business) and the not for profit sector and Gillett adds "with a lifelong personal commitment to an active life and a growing involvement in the fitness industry, Ben is looking forward to leading Physical Activity Australia into its next stage of development.
"PAA has undergone a number of evolutions in its life. From its early days as VicFit, to Kinect, to PAA, we have always sought to empower and enable people to live an active life.
"Our focus may have changed over the years, but what hasn't changed, and will never change, is the pride we take in offering Australia's best value fitness registration, coupled with personalised customer service."

PAA is part of the Bluearth Foundation, committed to active living and improving Australians’ physical, social and emotional health.
