New Laser Skirmish to open near Brisbane

Battlefield Sports is to open its fourth laser gaming venue in South East Queensland with the upcoming launch of Laser Skirmish Samford.

The new laser combat location marks another successful collaboration between Battlefield Sports subsidiary Laser Skirmish and the Queensland Branch of the Scout Association of Australia.

Located at Baden Powell Park in Samford, the attraction is set within open woodlands featuring undulating hills and a large dam and covers an area of 1.6 hectares.

The gaming guns have patented software that gives gamers real-time hit-feedback, so players know when they have tagged their opponent.

Introducing the new attraction, Laser Skirmish Chief Fun Officer Nicole Lander comments “spring is a terrific time to launch a new battlefield (and) Baden Powell Park offers the perfect venue for birthday parties, youth groups, and corporate events.”

Laser Skirmish specialises in combat entertainment for large groups with group package deals available for birthday parties, sports team break-ups and other groups such as team building.

Lander adds “from the birthday party organizer to the laser skirmish gaming enthusiast, we offer a fun and friendly outdoor experience.”

Founded in 1999 in Cairns, the company hosts laser tag events and manufactures laser tag equipment.

Laser Skirmish currently hosts events at the Karingal Scout Park in Mt Cotton and Tyamolum Scout Park in Mt Crosby. Laser Skirmish also hosts events at Thunderbird Park in Tamborine.
