New caterer for key Perth theatres

Bassendean-based Beaumonde Catering has been named the new food and beverage operator at three Perth Theatre Trust venues.

Announcing the decision, Western Australian Culture and the Arts Minister John Day said the Western Australian company had signed a five-year contract, starting from 1st January 2015.

Minister Day stated “Beaumonde Catering will provide hospitality services at the State Theatre Centre of Western Australia, His Majesty’s Theatre and the Subiaco Arts Centre.

“This is an exciting time for the Perth Theatre Trust as it moves to a new management model.

“Complementing this, Beaumonde, a highly experienced local catering business, will revitalise the bars and cafes at the venues, ensuring they provide quality options for Perth theatre goers.”

Beaumonde Catering aim to provide a contemporary theatre bar and function service at the venues.

In October, the Western Australia Government announced it was seeking F&B operators for Perth’s three flagship arts centres, with the tender process providing an opportunity to revitalise the bars and cafes and provide catering as part of the overall theatre experience.

Trading in Western Australia for 25 years, Beaumonde Catering specialises in a range of services including corporate catering, product launches, weddings and private functions.

Beaumonde Catering is currently the caterer for Cottesloe Civic Centre and Houghton Winery and has catered at many different venues across Perth including Government House Ballroom, Art Gallery of WA and Perth Mint.

The Perth Theatre Trust manages key venues including the State Theatre Centre, His Majesty’s Theatre, Subiaco Arts Centre and the Albany Entertainment Centre
