NBL welcomes more than a million fans through 2024/25 season

The NBL has advised that fans continue to stream through the turnstiles at record rates, with the League celebrating a million fans for the 2024/25 Hungry Jack’s Season.

Released prior to the conclusion of the regular season on Saturday night, the figure marks the second consecutive year the NBL has hit the milestone, and with Finals right around the corner, the total attendance figure will continue to increase.

The NBL has had 47 sell-outs this season, with the JackJumpers and 36ers filling every home game, which is a jump on the 33 sell-outs last regular season. Incredibly, the JackJumpers have sold out every single home game in their history, while Sixers games have become a must-attend event in Adelaide, with fans coming out in droves to watch entertaining superstars Montrezl Harrell, Kendric Davis and Dejan Vasiljevic.

NBL Chief Executive, David Stevenson commented “the NBL is the hottest ticket in town and it’s a significant achievement to welcome one million fans through the gates for a second straight season.

“This milestone is a testament to the unwavering passion of our incredible fans. The unprecedented rate at which the NBL continues to grow is clear and the appetite for our league is growing every year.

“Attending a game provides world-class, family-friendly entertainment and I want to give a huge thank you to the clubs and venues who help pull together every game day experience.

“We look forward to welcoming more fans through the gates and can’t wait to begin our biggest and best Finals Series yet.”

The NBL finals commence tonight.
