Nature powered adventure park opens in Victoria’s Great Ocean Road region

Nestled among the towering Otway treetops in the heart of Victoria’s Great Ocean Road region, Live Wire Park, Australia's first and only outdoor adventure park completely powered by nature, is now open.

Descirbed as the ultimate outdoor adventure experience for all ages, Australia’s first off-the-grid, elevated adventure park offers adrenaline-fuelled fun with opportunities to glide, zip and climb through the tree tops on each of the park’s exhilarating circuits.

These included Australia’s most extreme zip line, the 525 metre-long Shockwave Zip Coaster, and the leisurely 120 metre-long Canopy Circuit suspended pathway withthe breathtaking views of the Otway’s native blue gums.

Thoughtfully designed to have a minimal impact on the environment, Live Wire Park is a sustainable business completely powered by nature. The power is solar, while all water on site is collected, used, and treated to reduce waste and optimise the use of natural resources.

The attraction also offers the high intensity Super Circuit guiding visitors through 53 challenging physical and mental activities while suspended high in the air. Climbers can test their endurance while swinging on ropes, scaling trees and taking the plunge in a supercharged 10 metre QuickJump bungee, while putting your brain to the test with problem solving puzzles.

Children can test their agility on the Short Circuit obstacle course with 26 raising activities for the young adventurers to overcome, and finish with a sense of achievement.

The family owned business is run by locals who are passionate about the environment and sharing the natural wonders of the Otway’s National Park as they supervise and guide visitors through their adventure.
