Singapore's tourism future opens up with William Angliss Institute
The William Angliss Institute has opened a new Tourism Continuing Education and Training (CET) Centre in Singapore.
The new Tourism CET Centre is the product of a partnership with the Workforce Development Agency which, as part of Singapore's CET master plan, aims to strengthen workforce skills qualifications.
At a launch event attended by Singapore's tourism leaders, William Angliss Institute Board President Dr Michele Allan stated "William Angliss Institute is focused and committed to providing the best training and skill development options for the tourism, hospitality and foods industries internationally.
"This tourism CET Centre and our industry based activities will reflect these commitments."

Its offering includes training courses for different tourism sub-sectors across all levels from Certificate to Diploma with flexible delivery options. It has been granted registration by the Council of Private Education (CPE) as a Private Education Institute.
Allan added that "we look forward to assisting Singapore in developing their tourism businesses, people and skills to support the continued growth and development of Singapore's dynamic tourism industry."
Since moving into the Singapore market, William Angliss Institute has established relationships with some of Singapore major tourism players with a view to developing training partnerships to further international expansion of industry training programs in the areas tourism, foods and hospitality.
