Melbourne Sports Hub backs Technogym global wellness campaign
The Melbourne Sports Hub, Australia's most visited group of sports participation venues, will be backing Technogym’s 'Let's Move for a Better World' campaign from 2nd March.
Set to commence from 8am on Monday, the Let's Move for a Better World focuses on promoting and tracking exercise at fitness facilities throughout the world.
Aiming to encourage members at fitness facilities, the second edition of this innovative campaign aims to encourage members at fitness facilities to become more active - with the added social cause of giving back to their local community.
Clubs participating in the Challenge will use the Challenge App in the mywellness Platform to record the total number of MOVEs (the measurement unit for movement adopted by Technogym) performed by their participating members during the Challenge.
The Club with the greatest number of overall MOVEs recorded will be declared the winner of the Challenge. Technogym will award a First Prize to one school selected by the Winner at the start of the Challenge.
The recently refurbished Fitness Centre within the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) at the Melbourne Sports Hub is fully equipped with the latest Technogym cardio and resistance machines.
The Melbourne Sports Hub includes MSAC, the State Netball Hockey Centre, the MSAC Institute of Training and Lakeside Stadium.
