Melbourne and Olympic Parks appoints Director of Operations
Melbourne & Olympic Parks has announced the appointment of Mark Zundans as Director of Operations - Melbourne Park.
Zundans, who will move from his present role of Chief Executive of Hunter Venues, managing facilities in the NSW Hunter Region, will be responsible for Melbourne Park's business operations, including the Australian Open, Melbourne Park Function Centre, Rod Laver Arena and the Hisense Arena.
The former VMA councillor has extensive experience in the venue management industry, and will bring added depth and skills to Melbourne & Olympic Parks.
Melbourne & Olympic Parks Chief Executive Brian Morris explained "we are delighted to welcome Mark to our team, his wealth of experience in the events and venue industry is invaluable and we look forward to his contribution."
Mark Zundans will be joining the precinct towards the end of November, in time for the run up to the Australian Open.
