Magic Mountain reopens, recognised in international and regional awards

Merimbula's Magic Mountain amusement park re-opened for the 2013/14 season on Thursday 29th August, while celebrating recent recognition in international and local awards.

With its toboggan track, Grand Prix cars, rollercoaster, waterslides, jumping castle, mini golf, 'Triassic' dinosaur park and performing arts stage, management of the NSW South Coast attraction are confident of a successful spring, summer and autumn season.

Management of the family fun park are also pleased have been awarded a place in Trip Advisor's 2013 Travellers' Choice Award for the Top 10 Amusement Parks and Water Parks in the South Pacific while also having been awarded a Bronze medal in the 2013 NSW South Coast Regional Awards for Excellence in Tourism.

In a statement, park management explained "Magic Mountain is proud of this achievement and tributes this award to the wonderful staff who year after year provide visitors with a fun, safe and value packed tourist experience.

"Magic Mountain is honoured to be recognised as a leader in this region providing an outstanding experience for local and visiting families."
