Luna Park Sydney set to host the Halloween party of the year

Luna Park Sydney has announced it will play host to the city’s biggest and brightest Halloween party. Dubbed ‘HalloScream’, the spectacular will run over two nights from Friday 31st October and includes live performances, dress ups and an array of exclusive surprise guests.

Headlining the event will be international chart topping duo and judges on The Voice, Joel and Benji Madden who will be meeting and greeting fans to sign autographs and pose for photographs.

Also headlining will be two-time Album ARIA number one artist, Taylor Henderson, performing his new single live. They will be joined by host Luke Jacobz, an ensemble of Home and Away stars including: Nic Westaway, Andrew Morley and Jackson Gallagher and International model twins Zac and Jordan Stenmark.

Guests will settle in for the HalloScream Sunset Sessions as The Loop’s Scott Tweedie and KIIS FM’s DJ KCB hit the decks.

Inspired by Mexico’s ‘El Dia de Muertos’ (Day of the Dead), at sunset the Light Show Fiesta will transform Luna Park Sydney’s historic architecture and amusements into a magical sea of colour and rhythm in a specially produced light show. Visitors to the park are encouraged to embrace the spirit of Halloween by wearing fancy dress, with prizing being awarded to the best dressed.

The event will be held in collaboration with Camp Quality Australia and used to drive awareness and celebrate the work of the charity. Special Camp Quality activities and fund raising opportunities will take place throughout the Park during the event.

Outside of all the famous rides and attractions there will be special Parkour performances inspired by the recent blockbuster action film, The Maze Runner and Alone, Luna Park Sydney’s famous Mirror Maze will be transformed in darkness with terrifying surprises and thrills.

Throughout the park there will be Day of the Dead parades, make-up artists, lucha-libre wrestling and pop-up food and drink tasting stations.

For younger audience members a special Trick or Treat layout will be created where they can undertake the famous Halloween tradition within the safety of the Luna Park environment.
